Shelter From The Elements

We now have a large frame tent, prior to that, rain or shine, we were always exposed to the weather. 

The Ashcroft Airfield owner keeps the strip cut, in addition the part of the strip we use has been cut just a little shorter by willing members.

An unexpected visitor

One day early last August we had an unexpected visitor to the pits. He kept running along a crack in the dry earth where the pits joins the path. Every now and then he pounced on something but most of the time he just popped his head up, had a look around, then ran back into the crack to the other side of the path.
