Our main area of interest is in fixed wing radio control aircraft,
both electric and I.C. powered. In order to minimise noise, and for
the benefit of other members, we do not permit 3D-style flying.
We have adopted the BMFA policy for the protection of juveniles and
vulnerable adults and welcome their applications. All applications for
membership are considered by the committee. Our members cover a wide
range of abilities, from beginner to competition standard. If you want
to learn to fly a radio controlled model one of our experienced
instructors will be happy to guide you through the learning process
until you are competent to fly solo. This service is provided free to
any club member.
We currently have vacancies for new members. All members are required to
take out insurance by joining the BMFA. Depending on the device you are using you may be able to see a
